What It Costs

You pay 12% of the additional money we get approved on a claim. We don’t send an invoice until the depreciation is released, and then you have 14 days to pay. The fee comes out of money the carrier has already released, not out of your pocket.

What 12% Includes

A same-day file check, so missing documents get requested on day one
Confirming the right adjuster and their direct contact info before we write anything
A line-by-line review of the adjuster’s estimate, measurements and photos
The full supplement written in Xactimate, with code references, manufacturer requirements and photo evidence
A quality-control review before anything goes to the carrier
Follow-up: at least two calls and two emails to the adjuster every week until it’s approved
Escalation when an adjuster goes quiet
Rebuttals, round after round, when items are denied or partly approved
A check of the revised estimate for dropped line items
Follow-up until the depreciation is released
Your claim dashboard and performance dashboard, plus direct messaging with the estimator on your file

Example: The adjuster’s estimate is $14,000 and we get $5,000 in additional line items approved. Our fee is 12% of $5,000, which is $600. You keep the other $4,400, and you’re invoiced after the depreciation is released.

Pricing Questions

How much does a roofing supplement company charge?

Apex charges 12% of the additional money we get approved on each claim, with a $150 minimum per claim. The minimum is waived on your first 10 claims.

What does “additional money” mean?

The increase over the adjuster’s original estimate. If the first estimate was $14,000 and the final approved amount is $19,000, the additional amount is $5,000 and our fee is $600.

What if no additional money gets approved?

We still work the claim the whole way and follow up until the depreciation is released. The $150 minimum per claim applies, and it’s waived on your first 10 claims.

When do I pay?

We invoice once the depreciation is released, and you have 14 days to pay.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Send us one claim and judge the work on that claim.

What does Estimate Only cost?

$150 for a roof or gutter Xactimate estimate, or $100 for an estimate without photos. You get the estimate as a PDF. Estimate Only doesn’t include submission or adjuster follow-up.

Is Estimate Only available in every state?

Yes. Estimate Only is available in every state. Full supplement management is available everywhere except Florida and California.
