A supplement is a request to the insurance carrier to pay for work the original scope left out. The adjuster’s first estimate often misses line items the job actually requires, like drip edge, starter, ice and water shield, code upgrades or steep and high charges. A supplement documents each missing item with photos, measurements and code references, and asks the carrier to add it to the claim.
We become your supplement department. You send us the claim, and we review the adjuster’s scope, write the full Xactimate supplement, submit it with the documentation, handle adjuster follow-up, write rebuttals when items get denied, and chase the depreciation release until you’re paid.
Adjusters make mistakes, and nobody can see everything that happens once the roof is torn off. We review the code in your area and the photos you provide, and we communicate with the adjuster to make sure items like drip edge, starter strip, ice and water shield, step and counter flashing, decking, pipe jacks, ridge vent, valley metal, permits and steep and high charges are all accurate on the claim.
Three things: the adjuster’s estimate (scope of loss), roof measurements and photos. We handle everything after that. If your photos are thin, we’ll coach your crew on what to shoot, because better documentation is what gets more line items approved.
Both. We write supplements in whichever platform the carrier uses for the claim.
We handle all types of claims: hail, wind, water and fire, on residential and commercial properties. That covers roofs (including flat and modified bitumen commercial systems), siding, exterior paint and interior water damage tied to the roof claim.
At least four times a week until the claim is paid. When a line item gets denied, we write the rebuttal and keep it moving through every round.
Yes. Every claim has a live dashboard showing each call, email, status change and next step, so you never have to call us for an update.
No. A public adjuster represents the homeowner. We work for the roofing contractor, documenting and submitting the scope of the work the contractor is doing. We don’t represent homeowners.
Our fee comes out of what we recover on the claim, and you’re invoiced after the carrier approves the supplement and the depreciation is released.
No. Send us one claim and judge the work on that claim.
We work with roofing contractors in every state except Florida and California. Most of our contractors are in Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Arizona.
You get a whole team working your claims. Our estimators actively work every file to increase the amount approved and get you paid as quickly as possible, so your office isn’t stuck chasing adjusters when storm volume hits.
Our two owners were field adjusters for more than 20 years combined. We know how adjusters work a claim, and we understand how to move claims forward.
